Teams Reunited at Return to Football Festival

Ran by the Staffordshire Ability Counts League, in partnership with the Staffordshire County Senior League

After almost 18 months since the Staffordshire Ability Counts League kicked their last football within the league, it was fantastic to see the teams being reunited at the Return to Football Festival on Sunday 25 July 2021 at St. George’s Park.
The ethos of the day was to celebrate a return to the league and everyone who attended made the event a fun, friendly, safe and positive experience for all involved.

Throughout the day at staggered time slots, we saw a return to the Youth section in the county with both U16s and U12s teams taking part in friendly, competitive fixtures. This was followed by the Adult Premiership division and finally concluding the day was the Championship division fixtures.

Both the Youth and Adult sections of the league will be attending a second Return to Football Festival within the next month in preparation for the leagues to commence for the 2021/2022 season.
