We are passionate about celebrating the incredible people who make grassroots football great for everyone. It's our way of expressing our gratitude to the dedicated volunteers who inspire us all.
Our awards recognise outstanding clubs, leagues, projects, and volunteers who embody the spirit of grassroots football.
Here's how the awards work:
We have seven distinct categories, and we encourage everyone to nominate deserving individuals and teams through our online nomination portal. Nominations are open throughout each month, followed by a thorough judging process to select the winners.
Match Official of The Month: Share your experiences with match officials who demonstrate fairness, empathy, reliability, and fitness on match day. Nominate those who help players learn and enjoy football simultaneously.
Goal of The Month: Whether you've scored a spectacular goal or witnessed an exceptional team move, you can nominate any goal scored by a Staffordshire FA affiliated team, provided you have video footage of the goal.
Club of The Month: This award recognises exceptional achievements by England Accredited clubs. Winning clubs set benchmarks for excellence through events, community service, or member engagement.
The Lioness Award: Celebrating excellence in women and girls' football, this award spotlights individuals, teams, coaches, and players who have made outstanding contributions to this sector.
We Only Do Positive Award: This award acknowledges those who go the extra mile to promote positive behaviour, environments, and sportsmanship in grassroots football.
Grounds Team of The Month: Recognising outstanding efforts in maintaining and enhancing football pitches and facilities, this award highlights teams that excel in field and facility management.
Volunteer of The Month: Nominate individuals who selflessly contribute their time and effort to go above and beyond for your club, making a significant impact on match days or behind the scenes.
