Walsall FC
Walsall FC has a rich history of success in lower divisions of English football. Over the years, Walsall FC has experienced both success and challenges. The club’s most successful period came in the late 1950s and early 1960s when they won two Third Division titles and reached the quarter-finals of the FA Cup in 1961. More recently, the club has had mixed results in the lower divisions of English football. In the 2000s, Walsall FC reached the League Two playoffs on two occasions but were unable to secure promotion. However, the club managed to earn promotion to League One in 2015 under the guidance of manager Dean Smith.

Rushall Olympic
Founded in 1983, Rushall Olympic play their home games at Dales Lane under Manager Liam McDonald. In 1951 it was seen football should return to the village of Rushall, so some of the locals, John Edwards, Des Hyde and Graham Wiggin approached George Hunt an owner of a local chip shop who allowed them to use his shop as a headquarters. This led to Rowley place being the home of Rushall Olympic. In more recent years, after the coming of Liam McDonald he over saw Rushall Olympic finishing 8th and gaining promotion to the recently formed Southern League Premier Division Central and another 8th place finish. In a matter of weeks, Rushall Olympic have won the Senior Challenge Cup, and gained promotion to the National League North via the playoffs.

Tickets for the game will be available for purchase at the turnstiles, with prices set at £10.00 for adults, £5.00 for concessions, and free admission for under 16s. Cash and card payments will be accepted on the night of the match. No tickets are available to purchase in advance of the fixture.

Fans of both teams have been assigned specific turnstiles in the South Stand. Walsall FC supporters are advised to use turnstiles D-E-F, while Rushall Olympic supporters should use turnstiles A-B-C. The turnstiles and snack bars will open at 6:15pm, so fans are encouraged to arrive early to avoid queues.
