Mayfield FC
Established in 2001 Mayfield FC are a club with various teams from U15s to Senior teams, with the men’s Senior Team formed in 2016. Competing in the Midlands Regional Alliance (MRA). The club has had recent success with their successive promotions seeing them reach the MRA Premier Division and then securing top half finishes in the table during the years 2018 and 2022, with 2022 seeing Mayfield finish 4th and lifting their first piece of silverware by winning the Premier Divisional Cup. The club after their success in the MRA has entered the Central Midlands Football League (CMFL) Currently the man at the helm is Dean Bowler who has guided his players to this final with his coaching team of Darren Handley, Martin Howard and Physio Jeff Stobbart. The Challenge Cup will a trophy the boys in Claret & Blue would love to add to their cabinet.

Mayfield’s Route To The Final
Mayfield FC have had a mixed bag of a route to the final. They received a bye in the 1st Round seeing them face FC41 Reserves in the 2nd Round, in a fixture that saw Mayfield as 5-1 victors. This result led to Mayfield meeting Cannock United FC in the Quarters, which finished 0-0 after 90 minutes – it was ultimately decided on penalties with Mayfield winning 4-2. Now into the Semi-final and it was Bilston Town who were brushed aside by Mayfield with another 5-1 win booking their place in the Final.

Pelsall Villa Colts
Playing in the West Midlands Regional League (WMRL) Pelsall Villa Colts are under the joint management of Andrew Bond & Tom Bayliss. They currently have 19 teams playing in various leagues for different ages and formats. The community-based grassroots club was originally founded in 1978 by Lou Evans, with the first team formed for the 21-22 season. They have been an impressive side of late, sitting 2nd in the WMRL Division 2, winning 14 of their last 16 matches only losing once in that time. This loss only came against league-leaders Stourport Swifts Development. In addition to this final, they’ve also reached the WMRL Divisional Cup (the final still to be played). This promising set of players is causing great excitement for the fans as they fight for a chance at two domestic cups and a league treble this season - showing how the players have worked well under Mangers: Andrew Bond & Tom Bayliss and their coaching team of Jim Westwood and Physio Lewis Cann.

Pelsall Villa Colts’ Route To The Final
Pelsall Villa Colts started this competition in the 1st Round with a home tie against Stone Old Alleynians winning 1-0. In the 2nd Round Leek C.S.O.B Reserves were the visitors and were defeated 8-0, seeing Pelsall Villa Colts advance into the Quarters. This time it was an away fixture to Rushall Olympic FC Reserves and Pelsall Villa Colts came out with a 5-0 win, easing through into the Semi-finals. The Semi-finals had Florence Youth Reserves the honour of hosting Pelsall Villa Colts which saw the away team book their place in the final with another eight-goal thriller, in a 7-1 win. The fire power on display in theses show how the men in red and black will be a definite threat in front of goal having scored 21 goals on the road to the final.
