Match Day Reporters 

The Staffordshire FA is trialling a pilot to better manage behaviour in Staffordshire Football.

We have continued to see an increase in poor discipline over the past few seasons, both with low level offences and serious cases. 

With that in mind, we are trialling a pilot which will actively look at teams that are behaving in a manner that is not appropriate, but also celebrate those teams that are a positive example of what football should be about.

We are looking at creating a group of Match Day Reporters who will be coordinated by a Match Day Reporter Lead. These reporters will then attend games on an ad hoc basis and compile reports and assess clubs/individuals’ behaviours, conduct and discipline. They will also assist in celebrating and sharing good practice for clubs/ individuals who have created a positive football environment.
