The Staffordshire Football Association is proud to announce a series of training and awareness workshops aimed at creating a more inclusive football community in the county.

With a focus on mental health, autism awareness, and LGBTQ+ inclusiveness, these workshops are designed to provide valuable knowledge and skills to all participants.

Mental Health Courses
We have been working to secure Mental Health courses for Leagues, Clubs & Inclusion Champions. We have secured both Adult & Youth Mental Health FA England Aware Courses that will be held online & delivered by About Mental Health. We are part funding these courses and will be offering the course at a subsidised rate of £20.00 per learner (Please make sure to select the price category ‘Staffordshire FA Affiliated Members’). Autism Awareness Workshops
We have been delivering a number of these sessions across the county to increase wider knowledge of what autism is and how clubs/leagues can be supportive of individuals with autism within their settings. Please see below dates and booking details to attend one of these free workshops:
Monday 27th February, 6.30pm till 9.30pm – Venue Newcastle Town FC
Thursday 20th April, 6.30pm till 9.30pm – Venue Burntwood Youth Centre

Creating an LGBTQ+ Inclusive Football Culture
As part of LGBTQ+ history month & Football v Homophobia month, The Staffordshire Football Association is hosting a workshop that aims to promote an inclusive culture for the LGBTQ+ community within football. Please see details below:
