Angus Mackinnon Support Grassroots Football

Staffordshire FA has received a significant boost via the generous donation of a vehicle from Angus Mackinnon Ltd.

As part of Staffordshire FA’s ongoing objective to support, develop, and unite the grassroots game across Staffordshire, via the delivery of our current 3-year strategy ‘Uniting the Knot’, the Association has received a significant boost via the generous donation of a vehicle from local Uttoxeter-based car dealership, Angus Mackinnon Ltd.

The van has already proved to be an extremely useful asset to the Association at the recent delivery of the first few County Cup Finals, with a total of thirteen finals to be staged across Staffordshire over the coming weeks.

In addition to the cup finals, Staffordshire FA deliver a wide range of projects and objectives as part of our local Country FA strategy, with the aim of providing a safe and inclusive environment where everyone can achieve their football aspirations, and the vehicle will support the delivery of several key projects over the coming weeks and months.

Gareth Thomas, Commercial & Partnerships Lead at Staffordshire FA said: “As a not-for-profit organisation, having the generous support of local businesses across Staffordshire can really enhance the quality of the work that we do, and ensure that we can deliver the best possible service to all stakeholders who are involved in grassroots football across Staffordshire.”

He added: “We’re very grateful to Stuart and the team at Angus Mackinnon for the generous donation of this vehicle, which has already been a huge asset at the recent county cup finals and will provide additional support to many other projects moving forwards. We are keen to work with local companies, whose support can really enhance the service we provide to grassroots football across Staffordshire, and our sincere thanks go out to Stuart and the team at Angus Mackinnon Ltd for their support.”

Stuart Mackinnon, Managing Director at Angus Mackinnon Ltd: ‘’We have been established 47 years and understand that the community, with its loyalty, has helped build our business. Donating this vehicle once again shows how passionate we are to support local clubs and charities. We hope our Partnership with Staffordshire FA prevails for many years and this act helps them deliver their future projects to the local area.”
