Staffordshire FA President David Ramsbottom recently made a surprise appearance to the Chairman of the Mid Staffs Junior League, Mike Barnard.

Mike was awarded and presented with a certificate for his outstanding contribution to grassroots football for almost 40 years.

He has given so much back to the grassroots game over the past 40 years through Chairing various bodies such as the Mid Staffs Junior League and Stafford Falcons Football Club. Mike is also on the council of the Staffordshire FA.

A huge thank you to Mike from all who have benefitted from his years of dedication.
