Joe Kirkland, from Burton Albion Community Trust (BACT), has recently returned from an eight-night trip to Ghana.
The fundraising trip included various volunteering experiences such as teaching, coaching, building and renovation which will all positively impact the lives of the local people.
In Ghana BACT supported Tegbi E.P School – a government-administered primary school which was founded in 1946 in Woe. The school provides education to 550 children between the ages of four and 20, from kindergarten up to the third (and final) year of junior high school.
