Over recent years Staffordshire FA have developed a number of Friday night 11v11 leagues, as a flexible format alternative to a traditional 11v11 league.

The idea of the flexible format league, played on Friday evenings, is to appeal to players who may not wish to play traditional 11-a-side football on a Saturday or Sunday, due to other commitments, lifestyle, etc. The flexible format of the league makes it ideal for groups of friends, workplace teams, or teams who may have folded in recent years.

This league will take place on the 3G pitch at Northwood Stadium in Stoke-on-Trent, kicking off on Friday 7 January 2022. A maximum of eight teams can be accommodated in the league, and there are currently three vacancies which will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. Ahead of the league kicking off, a league welcome meeting will take place with team representatives in December (date TBC).

• £45 a game (approx. £4 per player)
