Staffordshire FA to host DBS verification sessions

The sessions will require an advanced booking and will begin this March.

To dovetail with the resumption of grassroots football on monday 29 March 2021, Staffordshire FA is pleased to offer the opportunity for any new DBS applicants to get their documents verified.

The dates for the two DBS Verifications sessions are as follows:

- Wednesday 31st March 2021 from 3.00pm – 6.30pm.
- Wednesday 7th April 2021 from 3.00pm – 6.30pm.

If you have submitted a DBS Application and require your documents verifying, please contact Jan Scott, Designated Safeguarding Officer, via email on support@staffordshirefa.com. Please state which session and time you are available to attend when booking a slot.

Please note to ensure that we are COVID-compliant, our offices are not open to the public and you will only be able to access a verification session with an advanced booking only.

Before attending a session, please check your emails to ensure that you have received a booking confirmation email from Staffordshire FA.

On arrival at the office, attendees will need to call at the main reception and have all three documents ready for verification.

Anyone aged 16 or over who undertakes any unsupervised roles with children and young people under the age of 18, must obtain a DBS Enhanced Criminal Record with Children’s Barred List Check.

This includes; managing, training, coaching or supervising, as well as giving advice or guidance on well-being, caring for children or driving a vehicle solely for children on behalf of a club or organisation.
