Staffordshire FA Develops Partnership With Veo

Veo is a portable solution which enables sports teams to record and analyse their training sessions and matches

Staffordshire FA have entered into an exciting new partnership with sports camera company, Veo.
Veo is a portable and easy to use solution that enables sports teams to record and analyse matches and training sessions without the need for a camera operator.

The 180-degree camera captures the entire pitch and powerful AI technology detects the ball, automatically creating a fully edited video you can watch and analyse directly on your own Veo platform.

Veo is an affordable solution that enables football clubs, big and small, to record and analyse their matches and training sessions automatically. The camera films with two 4K lenses and records 180 degrees, so it captures every single moment of the match in great video quality.

As the partnership develops over the coming days and weeks ahead of the resumption of grassroots football, Veo and Staffordshire FA will be sharing some great offers to support grassroots football clubs who may wish to embrace this innovative technology.

Gareth Thomas, Staffordshire FA Partnerships & Communications Officer, said: “We’re delighted to develop this partnership with Veo and are excited about the opportunities their product can bring to Staffordshire football. The County FA and clubs across Staffordshire are always exploring new and innovative ways to develop grassroots football across the county and we feel that the Veo technology can really support and enhance both the County FA and our member clubs.”

He added: “As we collectively look ahead to the return of grassroots football over the coming weeks, we look forward to developing this partnership with Veo and communicating more information about the product to clubs across Staffordshire as the partnership develops.”

Oli Perkins, Veo Marketing Manager UK, said: “Veo are delighted to announce a new partnership with the Staffordshire FA, enabling us to bring our AI match filming product and analysis platform to the county. With over 20 affiliated leagues, providing a mixture of traditional and flexible football playing opportunities, Staffordshire provides a wide range of football within the county, as well as being the home of St. George’s Park, The FA’s National Football Centre and training base for the England national teams.

“With just under 2,000 teams playing football across the county, football is embedded in the community and Veo hopes to facilitate this community and locality even further as we start getting back out on the pitch. With high profile customers such as Burton Albion already using Veo in the county, it is a hope that more grassroots teams adopt the product to further enjoyment and player development.

“We are delighted to be involved in such a football-mad county and can’t wait to see the little green machines doing their thing and players producing some memorable moments that will last a lifetime!”
