National Safeguarding Adults Week and Anti-Bullying Week
NATIONAL SAFEGUARDING ADULTS WEEK – 16-20 NOVEMBER 2020
Staffordshire FA is proud to be promoting and supporting National Safeguarding Adults Week, in conjunction with the Ann Craft Trust, between 16 and 22 November 2020.
The aim of the week is to create a specific length of time during which we can all focus on safeguarding adults – and every day will be highlighting a different safeguarding risk or issue surrounding adults.
Monday – Safeguarding and Wellbeing
Tuesday – Adult Grooming
Wednesday – Understanding Legislation
Thursday – Creating Safer Places
Friday – Organisational Abuse
Saturday – Sport and Activity
Sunday – Safeguarding in your Community
Everyone, from all walks of like, should be aware of the role they can play in helping to prevent abuse.
We should all know how to spot the signs of abuse and the actions we should take if we do spot any signs.
That’s why Safeguarding Adults Week is so important.
We at Staffordshire FA are supporting the Ann Craft Trust in continuing the nationwide conversation about safeguarding, so we can all be better, together. After a successful week of awareness in 2019, the Ann Craft Trust reached six million people on Twitter alone. This year, we want to help reach even more.
