Football on the corner.

Staffordshire FA Staffing Update - 9 November 2020

An update on Staffordshire FA's staffing during month of November 2020.

As a result of England being put into full lockdown until Thursday 2 December, and therefore no Grassroots football activity permitted to take place until this date, the Association has made some changes to the staffing structure for the short term.

From Monday 9 November, we will be working with a reduced staff due to the suspension of the game resulting in a downturn of workload.

As always we recognise the need to support our members through these tricky times and as such our service should not be adversely affected. All staff will be working in some capacity but on reduced hours until at least 2 December 2020; therefore it may take a little longer than usual for you to receive a response.

I would urge you to contact us with any queries or issues that may arise and it is imperative that safeguarding concerns in particular are reported in the normal manner.

Whilst all of our staff are currently working remotely, you will still be able to contact us through the usual channels and all emails should be sent to support@staffordshirefa.com and telephone 01785 256994.

We will be updating our website, Facebook and Twitter pages and you can also visit our knowledge base where you can also find answers to queries that you may have.

I would like to thank you all for your patience and understanding during this difficult time. Our staff remain passionate in supporting the grassroots game and these decisions have been made with the longevity of the Association and the game in mind.

As previously alluded to, we will be in a much stronger position to restart the game when it is safe to do so thanks to the work already carried out. In the meantime stay safe, talk football and please do not hesitate to contact us using the aforementioned channels.

Thank you for your support
Adam Evans
