Staffordshire University Charity Golf Open

CHARITY GOLF OPEN TO TAKE PLACE AT LEEK GOLF CLUB IN JUNE

Staffordshire University is hosting a Charity Golf Open at Leek Golf Club on Wednesday 24 June, raising money for the University’s Horizon Fund and Mind North Staffs. 

Leek Golf Club is situated in the heart of the Staffordshire Moorlands, offering golfers 18 holes of stunning tree lined fairways, undulating greens and fantastic views.

This event is a great way to spend the day, mixing networking with pleasure in the company of, Students, Staff, Alumni and Partners.

All proceeds raised on the day are being donated between Staffordshire University’s Horizon Fund, which offers bursaries to students from disadvantage backgrounds and hardship, and Mind - North Staffs, which offers support and advice to those experiencing mental health challenges.

Format:

Bacon baps, tea, and coffee on arrival
18 holes of golf (4 balls)
Stableford format
Free half-way house refreshments
On course competitions including Longest Drive and Nearest to Pin
Meal ticket containing a hot buffet of pulled pork baps, wedges, salads, and 'slaws
Presentation, trophies and prizes (raffle)

Entry fee: £40 per person/£160 Four Ball entry, which is inclusive of your nearest to pin and longest drive competitions. The registration and payment deadline is Friday 29 May.
