Mental Wellbeing Football Competition

STAFFORDSHIRE FA TO HOST MENTAL WELLBEING TOURNAMENT DURING MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS WEEK

There are a number of groups and organisations who have been delivering football mental wellbeing sessions for a number of years across Staffordshire, the work and commitment of which is truly remarkable.
In order to celebrate the work that these groups have done and to raise further awareness of the cause, Staffordshire FA will be holding a mental wellbeing competition during Mental Health Awareness Week.

The tournament will take place on Saturday 18 May from 12pm-4pm at Penkridge Leisure Centre, Stafford.

Every group/organisation in the county that is currently holding their own mental wellbeing football sessions have been invited to participate in the competition. The tournament will consist of a six-a-side round robin format where each team will get the chance to play each other, and the team with the most points at the end will take home the winner’s trophy.
