Brent (middle) has joined the Staffordshire FA team as a Football Participation Officer and is now lead for the male pathway, from mini-soccer through to youth and adult football.

His main focus will be to continue to sustain and develop the elements which make up the positive environment that encourages players into the game across all formats, as well as addressing the gaps so that the game is accessible for all in various guises.

The development of Futsal will play a big part of his work to educate, facilitate and support players as well as coaches across the county. Brent has a lot of ties to Staffordshire, having attended Burton & South Derbyshire College before university and has played in the Senior League Division One in the past. He coached, tutored and mentored for seven years at The FA before joining us, so can support in various different ways across the many different levels of the game.

Hannah (right) will be joining the team in the role of Football Participation Officer (Disability), primarily focused on providing individuals with a disability the opportunity to participate in football.

She will ensure that all ages and abilities are catered for in disability football across the county, and that each individual gets the chance to play at a level that suits them. Prior to this role, Hannah was studying her Masters in Sport Policy, Management and International Development.

DEBBIE POPE
