Several teams are in Staffordshire FA County Cup action tonight, as a Senior Cup second round and a Walsall Senior Cup quarter-final tie takes place.

SENIOR CUP

Round 2
Kidsgrove Athletic vs Tamworth FC – 7:45pm KO

The second round tie is being played tonight following the previous postponement due to poor weather. Kidsgrove are into the second round following their 4-1 win over Uttoxeter Town, whilst Tamworth put an end to Stone Dominoes’ hopes of a decent cup run with a 5-1 victory, following their return to the competition after a number of years without entering.

A home tie against Newcastle Town awaits the winner of this tie.

WALSALL SENIOR CUP

Quarter-Final
Boldmere St Michaels vs Walsall FC (7:30pm KO).

Boldmere reached the quarter-final following a 2-0 win against Chasetown, whilst Walsall dispatched Brocton 3-0 in the previous round.
