Director – LSL201

£55,000 per annum pro rata
29.6 hours per week


The Director will lead the Partnership, developing and implementing the Partnership’s Strategy and the Partnership’s strategic networking function and ensuring they meet the needs of the Sport England Primary Role for CSPs and of local partners.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of achievement at a senior management level and of leading the formulation and delivery of strategic objectives. Demonstrable experience of forging successful partnership with a wide range of organisations is essential, as is the ability to provide transformational leadership which creates and sustains a common purpose.

Chief Operating Officer – LSL202

£43,821-£47,185 per annum pro rata
22.2 hours per week


The Chief Operating Officer will lead the strategic operations of the Partnership, including finance and budget; compliance and standards and performance management. Deputising for the Director when required, the role also involves ensuring the effective delivery of Sport England programmes and the associated staff and resources.

The successful candidate will have experience of producing budgets and financial forecasts, demonstrating an ability to react to changes to ensure the long-term financial sustainability of an organisation. We are also looking for a strong track record of sustaining a performance management culture and of ensuring the governance of an organisation works effectively and efficiently.

Contracts: Fixed Term to 31.03.19 initially, with the possibility of extensions up to 31.03.21 subject to confirmation of funding.
Pattern: Part-time positions (days / times can be negotiated)
Location: ST16 3AQ (Stafford Borough Council)
