The County Youth Challenge Cup Final

Tuesday night will see the 7th Staffordshire FA 2015/16 County Cup Final take place as the County Youth Challenge Cup will be hosted at Rocester FC. The game is set to be an exciting encounter with both teams playing their football in the Longton Trophy Premier Division of the County Minor Sunday Youth League. The last encounter between the two sides was as recent as Sunday 27 March 2016, when the points were shared in a 2-2 draw.

Brocton Youth, who play their fixtures at the Silkmore Lane Sports Ground in Stafford, currently sit 4th in the division and have accumulated 6 points in 6 games.  In their 4 matches leading into tonight’s final, the team have scored an impressive 19 goals, whilst conceding only 5.

Uttoxeter Town Youth, who play their fixtures at the Oldfields Sports & Social Club in Uttoxeter, are currently top of the division and have remained unbeaten in the league so far, however they have been defeated in the League Cup by Brocton Youth.  In their 4 matches leading into tonight’s final, the team have scored a total of 18 goals and conceded only 6.

The teams look to be very evenly matched and we hope that will make for an exciting tie tonight.

The match will take place at Rocester FC, Mill Street, Uttoxeter, ST14 5JX.

Kick Off: 7.30pm
