The Mid week Floodlit Youth Cup Final
Stourbridge – 0 v 1 – Burton Albion
Last Thursday evening, 30 April 2015, saw the final of the Mid week Floodlit Youth Cup take place at Marston Road, home of Stafford Rangers FC.
In a tightly contested first half, both sides had their fair share of chances, however it was a defensive mix up between Goalkeeper Tom Hayward and Jacob Wedderburn which lead to the latter’s own goal.
Half Time Score: 0-1
Throughout the second half, Stourbridge battled hard for an equaliser, however nothing came and Burton Albion came out as winners in a close, exciting final – Congratulations to them.
