JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Kicks Coordinator
Salary: £16,575 - £18,525
Reports to: Health and Inclusion Manager
Hours: 40 hours

 

ROLE PURPOSE:

The role is to lead on the delivery of the Burton Albion Community Kicks programme, working closely with colleagues, local partners and young people to deliver a high quality social inclusion project to create safer stronger more respectful communities through the development of young peoples’ potential.

 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Responsible for the day to day running of Burton Albion Community Trust’s Kicks Programme, in partnership with key local organisations and steering groups such as the premier league, the police, local safety partnership team, local antisocial behaviour team, social services and other youth charities
  2. To develop and deliver sessions linked to the personal development of young people and every Child Matters framework. This will include education, training and employment opportunities along with all relevant exit routes

  3. Break down barriers between the police and young people, using simple opportunities such as regular general attendance and promotion of the session, along with specific workshops and project support where possible

  4. Responsible for collating information and writing appropriate reports associated with the Kicks programme and where applicable other Health and Inclusion Programmes.

  5. Ensuring that all paperwork for sessions including registers, payments, session plans and registration forms are up to date and processed correctly

  6. To develop and foster positive relationships with key partners across each programme to increase the success of each programme and the trust as a whole

  7. To attend relevant meetings, workshops, conferences and to keep up to date with any changes in legislation and key developments affecting the trust’s work

  8. Delivering coaching sessions across a variety of settings, such as Kicks, Health, Schools, Football, Disability – these may include breakfast clubs, lesson time delivery, lunchtime clubs, after school clubs, as well as skills and development centres in the evenings or Saturday mornings and during school holidays

  9. To report to the Health and Inclusion Manager on the progress and development of Kicks Project. Produce written and verbal information when requested. This to include analyse of statistics and feedback Carrying out such other duties as may be reasonably requested by the line manager, or a Director Compliance with the Company’s Code of Conduct and policies contained within the Employee Handbook Compliance with Health and Safety policies and regulations
