The game was very evenly poised for the first half an hour, with neither side breaking the deadlock until a Chell Heath Knave penalty broke the deadlock on 32 minutes.

Just 3 minutes later, Sneyd were pressing hard in the Chell Heath Knave penalty area, and a mistimed tackle led to the second penalty of the match, which was duly converted, equalling the score line at 1-1.

Shortly before the interval, Sneyd seized the initiative after a beautifully whipped in corner which meet a bullet header to put them ahead for the first time on 42 minutes.

The teams came back out for the second half fired up, however it was Sneyd who hit first in the 51st minute, doubling their goal advantage to a 3-1 lead.

The 70th minute of the match saw the third penalty award, the second to Sneyd, which was again converted and sealed up victory for the PDSL side as they went on to lift the trophy for the second time in their history.
