Supporting Disability Football in Staffordshire

The Staffordshire FA Disability Participation Group is in place to support, advise and develop opportunities across the County for people with disabilities.

The group has been established to bring together key deliverer's and partners across the county who have a focus or work with individuals with disabilities of all ages and abilities. The group aims to support, advise and develop opportunities across the county for people with disabilities as well as support the delivery of the new Disability Participation Hubs.

Disability Participation Hubs

The Disability Participation Hubs provide local opportunities to develop and deliver disability provision across each of the 9 districts within Staffordshire. The hubs and members work collaboratively to identify local demand and gaps in order to deliver suitable provision within a specific area.

To increase both playing and voluntary opportunities, the Disability Participation Hubs will deliver the following areas:

  • Club Development
  • Aiming High Holiday Clubs
  • Workforce
  • Delivery

The Disability Participation Hubs will be delivered in the following areas of the county:

  • Staffordshire Moorlands
  • Stoke-On-Trent
  • Newcastle-Under-Lyme
  • Stafford and Stone
  • Lichfield
  • Cannock
  • South Staffordshire
  • Tamworth
  • East Staffordshire
