Game Principles & Understanding Workshop with FA Talent Technical Coach Amanda Goodwin

Staffordshire FA will be hosting a bespoke workshop on Monday, April 24th, 2023, from 6:30pm to 8:00pm to provide an insight into game principles and understanding.

The workshop will take place on Microsoft Teams, and will feature Amanda Goodwin - a special guest and FA Talent Technical Coach.

The workshop will cover various aspects of game principles and understanding, with a particular focus on Discover My Talent - “Unearthing a future lioness,” a program aimed at identifying and nurturing young football talent. Attendees will also get a glimpse into a day in the life of an England Camp, with examples of training sessions and the importance of game principles.

Amanda Goodwin will also share her journey from player to coach, providing insights into the challenges and opportunities of transitioning from playing to coaching. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions during the Q&A session.

The workshop is exclusively for members of the Women’s Coach Development Group. It is an excellent opportunity to learn from a seasoned coach and gain insights into the latest trends and techniques in football coaching.
