Now under the managership of Nigel Briden with his 2 other coaches, his assistant coach Alex Carlton and team physio Dannii Richards. Whittington United are 5th in the 1st Division of the Burton & District Sunday Football League on 20 points after 11 games played. Going on recent league form Whittington have won 4 out of their last 6 matches drawing only 1 of them. When looking on broader form you find that Whittington are undefeated in their last 7 matches (as of the 22nd March). Due to this momentum this must be a great opportunity for Whittington if they can keep it going into the final for the team in blue and black.

Barber Life were founded in 2021 and now find themselves playing in the Coors Sunday League. Barber Life find themselves in 6th place on 24 points after 13 games comfortably sat middle table under the management of Ethan Fricker and the coaching staff of Carl Fricker (Assistant) and Kyle Jones (Chairman/Assistant). But the team in red are fighting for promotion. In Their recent fixtures Barber Life have been able to achieve a 4 – 0 win on the road against Queens Head FC and prior they were able to win 4 – 0 at home against Newcastle & Hartshall FC. They play their home games at Northwood Stadium. Barber Life have been impressive in this cup run scoring 15 goals. With this impressive run, Barber Life will be hoping to add some silverware to the trophy cabinet, a win in this final will make it 2 trophies in as many years. This isn’t the only cup competition they have the chance of winning as Barber Life have a semi-final coming up in their league cup.
