Those wanting to assist in the growth of women’s football in Staffordshire have a great opportunity to do just that this May with an FA Female Friendly Club Training Workshop, supported by Barclays, taking place in the county.
It will be hosted at Staffordshire FA (ST18 0LQ) on Monday 18 May 2020 from 6pm to 9pm (arrival 5.30pm) and is FREE to attend.
The workshop will give practical advice for clubs on how best to create an environment that encourages women and girls to get involved in football.
Specifically, learners will be given advice on how to increase female participation within football at their club by two FA-appointed consultants, as well as assistance from Staffordshire FA Senior Football Participation Officer, Bethan Woolley.
Off and on-pitch considerations will be examined, with real-life case studies also set to be included, giving attendees an excellent idea of how to implement the theory learned within their own club.
Food and refreshments will also be provided throughout the workshop.
You can book up to two representatives for each attending club, with both coaches and club committee members welcome to attend.
