Two Disability Football Coaching Courses Announced

Staffordshire FA is pleased to announce details for two disability football coaching courses; the Coaching for Disabled Footballers Course and the Coaching for Deaf Footballers Course.

COACHING FOR DISABLED FOOTBALLERS COURSE

The FA Coaching for Disabled Footballers (CDF) course is a six-hour workshop that provides coaches with a broader understanding of the various means to communicate and deliver sessions to players with a range of needs.

The course is applicable to disability coaches as well as to coaches of non-disability teams, with a growing number of children with SEN and other impairments participating in mainstream football.

Walsall Wood FC has embraced an apparent local demand for grassroots disability provisions and continues to demonstrate a commitment to ensuring that all players’ needs are supported.

The club has opted to host the County FA’s next CDF course, with a large number of their coaches taking part. The details for the course are as follows:

Date: Saturday 15 June

Time: 10am-4pm

Venue: Walsall Wood FC
