FA Disability Talent Hub - ID Day

Stoke City have been successful to host an FA Disability Talent Hub for a second season and will host two Talent ID Days in October.

For a second successive season, Stoke City Football Club is to host an FA Disability Hub – one of only 15 across the country – which forms part of the FA Disability Talent Pathway for Cerebral Palsy, Hearing Impaired and Visually Impaired Football and Futsal.

Staffordshire FA needs your help with identifying players within your league, clubs, school and groups who could be eligible for this additional opportunity for players to get onto the England Talent Pathway.

The Talent Hubs will deliver engagement sessions for players with cerebral palsy, deaf player and partially sighted players aged between 7 and 11, and 12 and 16. Sessions will enable continued talent identification/confirmation opportunities.  They will also be used as a check point for these players and will have robust processes to link players to appropriate mainstream clubs or impairment specific clubs.

Last season, Staffordshire had two players that were identified from the talent hub to the next step on the FA Disability Talent Pathway to attend the Regional Talent Programme.

Therefore, the hub will be hosting TWO FA Disability Talent Hub ID Days in October.
