MUM'S PLAY FOOTBALL LAUNCHES IN STAFFORDSHIRE

We are pleased to announce the first of our new Women's Recreational Football make-up, Mum's Play Football.

Mum's Play Football

Over the festive period it was announced that Staffordshire FA are changing the make-up of Women’s Recreational Football for 2018. The purpose behind these changes hope to provide more ladies the opportunity to play football in relaxed, flexible environment.

We are pleased to announce the first of the new make-up, Mum’s Play Football.

This programme is designed to allow ladies the opportunity to try football for the first time, in a comfortable, relaxed and sociable environment. With fantastic results from a number of mum’s sessions previously held around the county, we are committed to providing further opportunities for all “soccer mums” in Staffordshire.

Stafford Soccer Mum’s were a group of mum’s that turned out each week to support their girls in the Staffordshire Girls and Ladies League. Having never kicked a ball before, the ladies decided to get themselves a pair of boots and give it a go. Now the ladies train weekly in a fun environment and are now playing matches against other mums in the county within the Staffordshire Ladies Over 30’s League.

Mum’s/Ladies Veterans football is growing rapidly and we are inviting all partners who are interested in delivering these sessions to apply to become a Mum’s Play Football Centre in Staffordshire for 2018. The application process is now open.
