Burton Albion Community Trust currently have a vacancy for the role of Education & Learning Team Leader.

Job Title: Education & Learning Team Leader
Salary: £18,525.50 - £22,912.50
Reports to: Education & Learning Manager
Hours: Minimum 37.5 hours per week excluding Lunch

 

Role Purpose:

The role of the Education & Learning Team Leader is to manage the coordination, delivery and evaluation of the apprenticeship, foundation degree and football and education programmes, including the line management of staff within the department. The Team Leader will also work with partner organisations (local, regional and national) to identify new opportunities for the Education & Learning department under the BACT banner.

 

Role and Responsibilities 

1. The Education & Learning Team Leader will be responsible for:
- Planning, delivering and reviewing the apprenticeship, foundation degree and football & education programmes.
- Quality assuring Education & Learning programmes as agreed with Manager.
- Creating new, innovative income generating programmes with partners or funders.
- Line managing staff as designated by the Education & Learning Manager within the POST-16 section of the department to ensure clear KPIs are set and a performance monitoring system is in place.
- Ensuring all staff support systems are in place including monthly supervisions, appraisals and individual CPD programmes.
- Ensure the Values of BACT are adhered to at all times.
- Ensure all BACT policies and procedures including HR are being followed.
- Being the key contact for the apprenticeship, foundation degree and football & education programmes.
- Market and Promote the apprenticeship, foundation degree and football & education programmes via the website and social media platforms. To ensure recruitment onto programmes meets the set targets.
- Monitoring all outcomes within the Education & Learning department as directed by Manager. Ensuring these are communicated to the relevant stakeholders.
