Term: Full Time
Hours Per Week: 36.5
Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 (Dependent on experience and expertise)

The Staffordshire Football Association aims to ensure the long term future of the game by providing the best possible environment and infrastructure where football will flourish in the County for all regardless of background or ability. We are passionate about developing grassroots football and we are now seeking to recruit a highly motivated Members Support Officer (Clubs & Leagues) to join the Members Support Hub to help us further support our clubs and leagues with all administration, technology and county cup competition processes.

 

Role Description

  • To provide a high quality support system for clubs and leagues, building and maintaining relationships through the provision of exceptional service regarding Administration, Technology and Competitions
  • To be responsible for all matters relating to the Association’s County Cup Competitions, including Discipline, Referees, Affiliation and Finance
  • To support the delivery of the National Game Strategy in the CFA in partnership with key stakeholders

 

The key work areas are:

  • To provide clubs, leagues and volunteers with a comprehensive support programme to ensure their effective and efficient running and help manage any issues that may arise
  • Lead the County FA’s technology offer including Whole Game, Full Time, Player Registration and look to enhance opportunities for use within clubs and leagues.
  • Manage the Associations full County Cup programme annually.
  • Lead the Staffordshire Player Registration support programme, working with clubs and leagues to ensure the use of Whole Game to register all players across the County
  • Work with leagues to ensure FA Full Time is being used to help administer all elements of league programmes
  • Assist with league regulations, sanctioning and general league administrative support for all
  • Support the Discipline Officer with the administration of Caution reports, processing discipline payments onto Whole Game and assist volunteers with queries and issues on Discipline matters
  • To support the Association’s Affiliation process

To apply: Applicants will be expected to have excellent administration, IT and communication skills and have experience of dealing with multiple priorities, meeting key deadlines and providing exemplary customer service. An understanding of the FA’s National Game Strategy and experience of working within a club or league environment would be ideal, but not essential. You need to be passionate about and committed to the development of football at a local level, have the ability to inspire, be innovative and influence groups and individuals to be successful.

Strong relationship management and presentation skills are required and candidates must be able to demonstrate both team working and the ability to work unsupervised. Partnership working is key with candidates expressing excellent interpersonal skills.
