Monday 20th April 2015 saw the Staffordshire FA Senior Cup Final take place at Vale Park, Port Vale FC, when Daniel Cope came off the bench to grab a…

The first half of the game saw both sides create a number of opportunities, but neither could break the deadlock due to early efforts from both teams going narrowly wide. A highlight of the first half included Levi Reid striking the crossbar from a long range effort.

With the first half coming to a close with the score at 0 - 0 both sides looked to gain the upper-hand going into the second half. Stafford grabbed the initiative with a number of successive efforts on the Leek goal early on in the second period with a number of chances being created through crosses from Ryan Edmunds.

As the game closed out it looked like we were heading to extra-time, but on the 93rd minute substitute Daniel Cope took advantage of a cross which originated from Reid, but was knocked onto the back post by Luckie where Cope prodded home to score.

Cope's goal turned out to be the decisive moment in the match that allowed Stafford Rangers FC to go on and lift the trophy.

We would like to extend our grateful thanks to our hosts Port Vale FC for holding such an exciting final. The attendance for the game was 784, and we would like to thank all of the spectators that made the trip to support both teams.
