Community Games 2012

The West Midlands County Sports Partnership Network and its partners has been successful in winning the contract to provide support to the WM 2012 legacy trust Community Games programme. This will place CSP's at the forefront of one of the West Midland’s most high profile and potentially community enhancing activities in the run up to the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and enable us the opportunity to work with our local partners to ensure that Community Games is targeted at our communities of most need. The Community Games is part of the West Midlands Cultural Olympiad.

COMMUNITY GAMES – WHAT IS IT?

‘Community Games’ is part of the West Midlands’ Legacy Trust programme that aims to leave a lasting legacy from the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The Community Games programme is a very exciting concept, which has the potential to ‘touch’ the lives of West Midlands people providing many of them with their own personal “Olympic moment”.
