New Girls Football Centre - Stoke on Trent

On Saturday 30th January 2010, the Staffordshire FA will be launching a new Girls Football Centre at Holden Lane Sports College, Stoke on Trent. The new girls football centre will take place every Saturday morning, 10am – 12pm with the aim of providing girls aged 5 – 12 years old with the opportunity to play regular football.. The football centre will provide opportunities to learn and develop new skills, increase knowledge of the game and play as individuals and as a team in mini matches. 4v4 football will be a focus of the Football Centre with team opportunities also to be included in the Centre.

The Football Centre is free to attend and will take place on the grass pitches at the school. Suitable footwear (football boots) and shinpads must be worn by all players. Suitable clothing should be worn for all sessions and drinks should be brought by the players to the session.

Should any players be interested in attending the football centre, please feel free to come along each Saturday morning for a 10am start. Players will be required to register at the first session they attend.
