An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at Staffordshire Football Association. The County FA are requesting applications for a Girls and Womens Football Coach.

HOURS: 37 hours per week (subject to some weekly fluctuations).
Hours will include weekend and evening work

DEPARTMENT: Football Development

LINE MANAGER: County Development Manager / Football Development Officer (Girls and Women’s)

DURATION OF This post is for a fixed term until 30th June 2011 from the posts
EMPLOYMENT: start date.


JOB PURPOSE:

To plan, coach and monitor a co-ordinated programme of high quality professional coaching as detailed within the FA development strategy for women and girls football. The role will focus mainly on school club link work to support the local Charter Standard clubs within the county.

The successful candidate should hold a minimum of the FA Level 2 Coaching Certificate and have experience in coaching football. Candidates must have the ability to develop and implement high quality, innovative and varied coaching sessions. They should have the ability to work unsupervised and on their own initiative. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be expected. The ability and willingness to work unsociable hours, including evenings and weekends is essential.

Interviews will take place on Friday 12th February 2010 and candidates will be required to deliver a practical coaching session followed by a formal interview.
