On Monday 22nd June 2009, Wyrley Junior Football Club are hosting a open evening at Great Wyrley High School for girls as part of The FA's National Girls Football week 2009.
The open evening, which starts at 6.30pm at the High School, is open for all girls to attend. The club are keen to continue the development of the girls sections across the club and would like to invite as many girls as possible along to the open evening to receive free football coaching from the Staffordshire FA and Wyrley Juniors FC. The club currently have 12 female only football teams ranging from Under 10s to open age Ladies football and the club are looking to introduce new and additional age groups for the coming season.
All interested girls are invited to come along next Monday evening and participate in coaching sessions, skills sessions and mini games. Girls of all abilities are welcome regardless of whether you have played football before or not.
