Insufficient numbers of high-quality English players, coaches and tutors means that it is time to reverse recent trends and formulate a clear, integregated plan aross Professional and National Games to effect change and raise standards across the coaching workforce.
The current FA Coaching System needs to be taken from good to great. We need to address the major issues on coaching and player development which include fundamental questions around what, how, when and where we teach the game.
In the "Developing World-Class Coaches And Players" document the new coaching strategy for 2008-2012 outline the changes that are being made by the FA for coaches and players throughout the UK.
