New Manager for County Teams

Representative Teams

Staffordshire Football Association are delighted to announce the appointment of Ian Broad as the new County Representative Team Manager. Ian comes with a wealth of experience and the Association are sure that he will prove to be a success.

Ian will be supported by Alan Crook, Adrian Knight, Alan Smith and Ken Hughes, who all have vast experience of Youth Football in Staffordshire.

Ian and his ‘Team’ will be holding Trials for the new Season on Monday 1st September 2008 for the Under 18 Team and on Monday 8th September 2008 for the Under 16 Team at a Venue still to be confirmed.

All eligible Players from last Season will be receiving an invitation to attend and Clubs are invited to nominate Players who they think are of the required standard to represent the County by sending details to Ian via the Association Office at Dyson Court, Staffordshire Technology Park, Beaconside, Stafford, ST18 0LQ.

Ian is also on the lookout for a qualified Physiotherapist for the Teams and anyone interested in the Position should send their details to the address above.

Gerald Sinstadt, Youth Committee Chairman, said “We are delighted that Ian has agreed to take on the Position and with the ‘Team’ he has assembled we are confident that success for the Teams is just around the corner.” Gerald added that he was grateful to Phil Starbuck who had assisted towards the end of last Season but was unable to continue due to professional commitments.
