COUNTY WELFARE OFFICER
(20 Hours Per Week / Salary £22,122 pro rata)
Staffordshire Football Association Limited is seeking to recruit a County Welfare Officer.
The successful candidate will provide quarterly updates to The Football Association Child Protection Manager. The Position has a key responsibility to safeguard children and vulnerable adults in line with Legislation and F. A. Policies and Procedures.
The successful Candidate will be approachable, have a child centred approach and the ability to maintain this perspective when carrying out the role.
The role encompasses :-
● Advising on the implementation of relevant Safeguarding Legislation and guidance;
● Promotion of Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults Policy and Procedures;
● Managing the Safeguarding Education Programme to create positive change;
● Strategic Planning to address poor behaviour and raise standards in line with the National Game Strategy;
● Management of poor practice cases within the County;
● Referral of child abuse concerns to The Football Association;
● Roll out of responsible recruitment practice including CRB Disclosures;
● Working in partnership with County F. A. Governance and Development Staff.

You must be able to work under pressure, sometimes dealing with conflict and possible animosity whilst maintaining confidentiality. In addition you must manage multiple priorities, have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to positively influence at all levels.

ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
Salary £11,577.00 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Governance Team at the Staffordshire Football Association Limited.
We are looking to appoint an Administrative Officer who will report directly to the County Governance Manager and will be responsible for all matters relating to the Association’s County Cup Competitions, will assist with the Players Registration Database and carry out other administrative duties as they arise in a busy office.
The successful Candidate will be computer literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft programmes, be able to multi-task and handle a busy work schedule. You must be a team player with a cheerful ‘can do’ attitude, be able to use your own initiative and have an understanding of football.
The Position is based at Dyson Court in Stafford working from 9.00am until 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 9.00am until 4.00pm on Friday, although some evening and weekend work will be required.
