Loan Scheme
Staffordshire Football Association run a 'Loan Scheme' for affiliated Clubs who are undertaking projects to improve their ground or facilities - for instance the erection of floodlights, improve changing facilities or purchase of ground maitenance etc.
Clubs may apply for a maximum loan of £5,000 to assist with such projects. The loan is interest free and Clubs do not have to commence the repayments for six months after receiving the cheque. Thereafter the amount of the loan is repayable in 18 monthly instalments.
Clubs such as Newcastle Town, Heath Hayes and Florence Women have taken advantage of the scheme to assist with projects to improve their facilities.
If your club is seeking to undertake such projects then the information pack is available by contacting Brian Adshead at the County Offices.
Charity Fund
The Association's Charity Fund exists to assist Members of affiliated clubs and leagues who have suffered financial hardship as a result of injuries sustained while taking part in the game.
The fund does not replace Personal Accident Insurance which ALL affiliated clubs must have but to suppliment it and ensure that participants and their families do not suffer as a result of injuries and the subsequent need for time off work.
If you have sustained an injury and require financial support please contact Brian Adshead for the appropriate application form.
