Staffordshire FA offer Female Only Goal Keeper coaching to girls aged between 8-16 years.
The sessions are to give players the opportunity to develop their Goalkeeping skills and to gain more confidence within the game.
In June 2007, 30 young females took part in a 4 week Goal Keeping clinic at Beaconside Sports Centre, Stafford which was a huge success,
Staffordshire FA’s Girls and Women’s Coach Rachael Blunt said “This was a great opportunity for players to attend and receive specific Goalkeeper coaching, to develop their skills and take it back to show their club and put into the game what they learnt”.
Future Female Only Goal Keeper clinics will be organised and advertised in the near future.
