Safeguarding Children in Football

For all coaches, medics and referees in football where youngsters are involved, including where under 18s are playing adult football. For those involved with Charter Standard or taking coaching, medical and refereeing qualifications, the safeguarding children workshop is mandatory.

Pre-requisites
Ideally applicants are 18 years of age or over. The workshop requires some emotinal maturity to deal with content, as well as some experience in leadership roles in order to apply a context for dealing with child welfare issues.
