To help achieve our aims in the field of Inclusion & Equity, Staffordshire FA now has a Football Development Officer for Inclusion & Equity, Matt Hancock.
Appointed in January 2009, Matt’s role is to ensure that hard to reach groups, such as BME groups and those in areas of deprivation, in Staffordshire have the opportunity to create new teams, new leagues and also have the chance to gain qualifications that lead into employment or work within Staffordshire clubs.
Matt will work with relevant organisations to ensure that projects are sustainable and exit routes are available to every person that Staffordshire FA work with.
Every quarter Matt will be producing a Inclusion and Equity newsletter giving details of events that are happening and have taken place, as well as idea's and funding opportunitie's for groups to apply for, aswell as coach education courses that are available for all to attend.
